    this sentence uses past tense "went"
    because it happened in the past "yesterday"

    saya sudah makan nasi goreng
    this sentence uses present perfect "have eaten"
    because the adverb of time is unknown

5. you are studying english today
    kau sedang belajar bahasa inggris hari ini
    this sentence uses present continous "are studying"
    because it happening "today"

    saya sudah tinggal di jakarta selama 9 tahun
    this sentence uses present perfect continous "have been living"
    because this sentence uses V1 "have" followed by V3  "been" + V1"live" + -ing
